Our Enchanted Forest is an amazing place for little ones to learn and play! We know that play is essential to healthy brain development for children. It allows them to create, explore the world around them, build confidence and imagination, and more.
Here are a few areas in the Enchanted Forest where your child can come to enjoy the power of play!
Market Stand
- Stocked with rotating sets of toys, the Market Stand might become a store, a zoo, a restaurant, and more!
- This stand promotes imaginative and cooperative play as kids role-play different scenarios, like running a store, cooking a meal, or going to a birthday party.
Puppet Theatre
- Located next to Storybook Cottage, the Puppet Theatre houses a rotating cast of puppets for your child to play with.
- It promotes dramatic play, builds creativity, and allows children to work on their early literacy skills by telling a story.
- Need ideas for your puppet show? Read a story with your child, then use the puppets to create your own version together!
Discovery Table
- The Discovery Table changes between three different tabletops: a lighted surface, a train map, and a DUPLO base.
- The Discovery Table encourages all types of play. Kids can use it to tell a story or build, with lots of opportunities to develop motor skills, learn about shapes and colours, and use their creativity.
