    For privacy protection, browsing history and files are erased once a user session has ended.

    For privacy protection, files are not saved on library computers once a user session is over. Portable storage devices are allowed and available for purchase.

    Library visitors will find PC workstations on both floors of the library. Two-hour sessions are free, using login instructions on the screen. Use is governed by our Computer Use Policy, and staff at the library’s Information Desks are available for assistance.

    Laptops are also available for in-house borrowing from the Customer Service Desk. Please be prepared to provide a piece of identification (driver’s license or SCL library card).

  • WiFi

    To connect to free WiFi, choose the network "Library-Guest" and then open your internet browser to accept the terms and conditions of use. No password is required and access is unlimited.

  • Printing, Copying, Faxing

    Yes, faxing and scanning can be done at no charge using features on the photocopier on the second floor. See staff at the Information Desk for assistance.

    NOTE, November 2024: We have moved to a new mobile printing service, Princh.

    To print to the library’s public printer from a laptop, tablet or phone, either scan the QR code by the library's printing station or go directly to print.princh.com

    Enter the code 109417 and upload your document(s). You can adjust settings within Princh once you've uploaded. 

    Please ask for assistance from our Information Desk staff if needed.

    Black and white: 25¢

    Colour (upstairs only): 50¢.

    Printing is available on letter (8.5x11) and legal (8.5x14) paper.

    Please see staff at the Information Desks for assistance with job-related documents: There is no charge for black-and-white printing for resumes and job applications.
