Current GED Program Ending in Canada

Program ending May 3rd, with new one replacing it

Looking for books to help you prep for the GED? Heads up: the Canadian GED (General Education Development) Test is ending on May 3, 2024. According to the GED website, you must complete your GED High School Equivalency certification prior to May 3rd, otherwise you may lose your progress.

Canadian provinces are working on an alternative way to earn your high school equivalency. This new program is called the Canadian Adult Education Credential. It is currently scheduled to launch in spring 2024.
