We’ve opened up a new bin for returning library materials, at the Emerald Hills Leisure Centre. You can return items there and they’ll be picked up and whisked back to the library!
How does returning items outside the library work? Your items will be considered returned as of the most recent pick-up date. Here’s an example: Let’s say that pick-ups are scheduled for May 5 and May 9. If you return an item on May 7, the item is considered returned as of May 5.
The Emerald Hills bin is located right by the front doors, on your right-hand side as you walk in.
Did you know that there are seven other points that you can return library materials to?
- Central Library at 401 Festival Lane: inside or outside to the right of main doors
- Strathcona County Community Centre Parkade: on Level P1, by the elevators
- All Bookmobile stops
- Millennium Place: east entrance, near the teen area
- Bethel Transit Centre: southwest corner, by the vending machines
- Ardrossan Recreation Centre: west side, near the curling rink
- Fort Saskatchewan Public Library (except interlibrary loans; please only return these to the above locations)
Although we no longer charge overdue fines, we appreciate you returning items in a timely matter so others can enjoy them!
