Finding Reliable Health Information Online

There are many sources of information online that claim to help you find answers to your health-related questions, but which ones are reliable and which are just trying to sell goop squeezed from snakes?

Our digital literacy team has put together a presentation about finding reliable health information, covering such topics as:

  • How to evaluate information on health and medical websites
  • Privacy and your personal health information
  • Recommended resources (both for general health questions and COVID-19 specific ones)
The Finding Reliable Health Info slides are available now and we hope you'll find them useful. Check out the speaker notes in the slides for more context.
